Comments: Processed in classic SHO or "Hubble palette", this region of the southern constellation Ara has numerous fascinating emission nebulae which are best seen in narrowband. Here, the claw-like NGC6188 reaches towards the center of the image while NGC6164-5 with its delicate outer shell watches from the lower left. Also seen, just barely, is the Wolf Rayet ring nebula PCG 11 in the upper left of the image. In this image SII is mapped to red, while H-alpha and OIII are mapped to green and blue respectively.
